Ky-nim went over to her locker, number 88. She had brought her own lock and put it on, "There." She said with a smile. She then took out her text books and a few other supplies and put them in it. She then took out her newest manga volume and started to read it, right there next to her locker, she didn't pay attention to the footsteps behind her.

"Hey. You new also? I just got here. I'm Sade." I held out my hand to her with a friendly smile. I raised an eyebrow at the manga books she was holding.

Ky-nim jumped when she heard Shade, she turned around in surprise. She was Japanese-American, so it was hard to tell if she was more Asian looking, or Caucasian. She looked down, "Y-ya.."
