Jacob was horrified. One of his many fears. The dreaded activity that caused him emotional and physical trauma: DODGEBALL. He walked out slowly, and stood in the line of boys. Luckily, this wasn't a co-ed game. The girls would see him with his poor fitness. He wasn't the tallest. He didn't look like much. The others noticed. When they picked teams, Jacob was picked last, as usaul. His team groaned when he walked up. Everyone took there sides. The coach blew his whisltle. "Go!" he said.

"Hey, aren't you Jacob? I think we met at your locker..." I said calmly, noticing him freaking out.

Jacob heard someone talking to him. He turned his head for a moment, and a ball nailed him in the face. He landed on his back, groaning. He went to sit on the bench. " You were saying?"

I giggled a little bit at his pain. This kid just couldn't get a break. "Eh, nevermind. Catcha' later I guess." I jogged over to some other kids, avoiding getting hit with a ball. "Who threw that?" I screamed, picking out a guy on the other side of the gym. I smirked, beaming the ball at his stomach, "You're out."

Jacob laughed. When the victim glared at him, he stopped and looked at his feet. "Thanks," he said awkwardly to Sade. Normally when he got within 5 feet of a girl, they'd groan and walk away. At least Sadie proved that all girls aren't shallow.

I turned to talk to one of my friends, when I was rudely hit in the back of my head with a ball. "Which one of you little dick's threw that?" I growled, as one guy with shaggy red hair stepped forward. "All right, okay. I won't kick your ass today. But maybe tomorrow." I sighed sitting down on the bench.
